Although I don't have 60% usage of gnome-shell it burns about 20-40% of my CPU. This is on a Thinkpad X220 with a Core i5, 8GB Ram, Intel HD3000 GPU and an OCZ Nocti SSD.
Similar behaviour reported here: http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=1966865 However there seems the fglrx driver to be the issue which cannot be the case for me. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/1002195 Title: gnome-shell burns more than 60% cpu all the time To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-shell/+bug/1002195/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
