Again testing with latest updates to Precise X-Ubuntu as well as LinuxMint-12 and latest -13: Suspend fails to complete, requiring a power-off. Hibernate no longer an option although I have forced it by executing it from root (I had to power off but it did recover where I left off) but did not bother retesting this.
Also, in another bug report I reported for all these distributions my intel-5100 wireless will not work so I have major frustrations in using any major upgrades and fear even to buy a new laptop, even a Thinkpad unless perhaps a Sys76. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/964158 Title: xbubuntu beta: suspend+hibernate not working To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/964158/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
