I'm having this issue even though I don't have a nvidia card. This is an
HP Folio which uses the integrated Intel video card. After I installed
Ubuntu 12.04 (three days ago) it has happend three times.
So probably this is not specific to nvidia drivers as this thread might
be suggesting (and it has been marked as duplicated of a bug specific to
nvidia), but it could something more general.
