A question to everyone. Which network card are you using to connect to internet?
I have a: 06:00.0 Network controller: Atheros Communications Inc. AR9227 Wireless Network Adapter (rev 01) which is used by the ATH9K driver. I have tried Linux mint 12, Debian stable and I have had freezes in all so I bet it is a certain driver screwing but in my case it is making no sense already. Thing is with Debian I have had the freeze after installing just when I was connecting to my wireless for the first time.
