Because I didn't know how to change the assigned download server in the configuration finally, today I thought about a different approach, which consisted in using a different DNS server, just to check if maybe the name of the mirror server wasn't being resolved properly by my current DNS server... And it worked :) .
I simply used the public DNS servers from Google (8.8.8.8 or 8.8.4.4), installed, and then turned back to my DNS servers again. I guess that this problem will get solved once that the right addresses propagates to every existing DNS server. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/994125 Title: unable to install ttf-mscorefonts-installer To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/update-notifier/+bug/994125/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
