Looking at Akila's MM log, I see two possible issues. 1. There may be an offending command here:
[1317801779.197484] [mm-at-serial-port.c:298] debug_log(): (ttyUSB0): --> 'AT+COPS=3,0;+COPS?<CR>' After that command, there is no more answer from ttyUSB0. 2. Very close to that point there is an error on ttyUSB1 after the failed command: [1317801779.161136] [mm-at-serial-port.c:298] debug_log(): (ttyUSB1): --> 'AT+CREG=2<CR>' The response on ttyUSB1 is "+CME ERROR: 3". It might have messed up the modem somehow. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/868034 Title: Huawei E220 and E1550 can't connect on Ubuntu 11.10 To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/modemmanager/+bug/868034/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
