Running Ubuntu 64 on Acer Aspire 8730 (NVIDIA GeForce 9600M GT), and have the same problem when using xinerama to have dual display working on 295.40. Unity 3d has exactly the same problem as described by paulgault-r. I'm a linux newbie.. it says a fix was released -- where do we find it / how do we apply it?
