Public bug reported:

When creating a package with cmake/libarchive, the created Debian
package is corrupted:

Unpacking hpccsystems-platform (from
hpccsystems-platform_community-3.9.0-1trunk-Debugprecise_amd64.deb) ...
dpkg: error processing
hpccsystems-platform_community-3.9.0-1trunk-Debugprecise_amd64.deb (--install):
 corrupted filesystem tarfile - corrupted package archive
dpkg-deb: error: subprocess paste was killed by signal (Broken pipe)
Errors were encountered while processing:
 hpccsystems-platform_community-3.9.0-1trunk-Debugprecise_amd64.deb

I've downloaded cmake-2.8.8's sources, compiled and it works fine.

This bug in not in Ubuntu per se, but would be good if cmake was
upgraded sooner than usual.
