Hi I installed Ubuntu 11.10 with the open source drivers, and FN brigthness works and screen is fine.
then i installed the nVidia accelerated graphics driver (version current) (recommended) The FN brightness function doesn't work, but the screen is fine. After that installed the (post-release updates)(version current updates) and now also the FN brightness function doesn't work, but now i got also the Six Screens ! (thus with ubuntu 11.10) After installing Ubuntu 12.04 with the open source driver, the FN brightness works and screen is fine. After installing the nVidia accelerated graphics driver (version current) (recommended) the Six Screens appeared !
