Same issues here. Yesterday tried to do new install on new SSD of 12.04 on HP DM4 laptop. Install failed 'Disk Full' and other issues. Install of 11.10 went smooth and fast, then upgrade to 12.04 was ok.
Firts 2nd monitor worked out of the box. Worked ok.
