Hi Christopher, Sorry it took so long to get around to this. The problem has ceased since last release but Ive downloaded a copy of Ubuntu 12.04 and am booting it from a usb stick to test and the suspend doesnt activiate at all when I close the lid. Perhaps this would be different if it was installed on the harddrive?
I also tried entering the command in terminal below and only got an error message: *bash: syntax error near unexpected token `newline'* Let me know if I can still help in any way. I love Ubuntu...
