Lagging here too. Using GeForce 7600 GS. This driver (295.49) doesn't freeze the machine which 295.40 did, but Unity3D is slow and the computer lagging much and swaps (especially using Firefox). Unity3D is not (in my view) as it is now, at least on my machine, usable for highend work. I'm now using Xubuntu. But can you fix Unity + (probably) Compiz (memory footprint etc.) with Nvidia drivers i would be glad, because Unity3D is a great environment.
