Hi, perhaps you habe to install the driver this way
sudo sh NVIDIA-*VERSION* --kernel-source-path=/usr/src/linux- headers-<uname r> uname -r tells you the kernel version. you have to execute it before you run the installation and copy the result od uname -r into the clipboard and paste it where I've wirte <uname -r>. When the nvidia install script ask for looking at the ftp server say NO. I think it schould be run. Tell me.
