I have the same problem with cdroms.
It happens when leaving cdrom inserted and then reboot.
I'm using Nautilus 2.18.1 on Feisty.

My cdrom /etc/fstab line is:
/dev/hdc /media/cdrom0 udf,iso9660 user,noauto 0 0

mount output:
/dev/hdc on /media/cdrom0 type iso9660 (ro,noexec,nosuid,nodev,user=simone)


 dmesg | grep hdc
