I have the same problem printing to a networked konica-minolta 4750en cups 1.50-9 prints fine using pdftops in oneiric.
cups1.52.x crashes the printer (printing via ghostscript). I am currently printing via a cups 1.50 server in a virtualbox with 11.10 installed in it.
