Public bug reported: After auto update of thunderbird to version 12 the german translation of menus and buttons were lost.
The german language pack thunderbird-thunderbird-locale-de 1:12.0.1+build1-0ubuntu0.10.04.1 is marked as installed, reinstalling the packaged didn't solve the problem. To workaround this bug I had to manually install the language pack xpi file from the mozilla website. P.S. I tried to report it against the above mentioned packed but the bug tracker was unable to find it.
