I apologize for the too brief bug report. Here is more info: 1. Installed ekiga softphone on Dell Opt GX1 with Ubunto 7.04.
2. Created my account for ekiga. 3. Inital run of software started with no problems or error messages. 4. Test my sound settings on headset - OK 5. called sip:[EMAIL PROTECTED] for echo test. 6. received the message "security check failed" at bottom This error was also reported on 5/20 by Matt89 and a resolved status. However, there is no text displayed in the answer section. Perhaps his solution is my solution. Thanks, Don C. ----- Original Message ----- From: "Kees Cook" <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> To: <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> Sent: Wednesday, June 13, 2007 1:01 PM Subject: [Bug 120251] Re: "security check failed" Thanks for taking the time to report this bug. Unfortunately we can't fix it, because your description didn't include enough information. You may find it helpful to read "How to report bugs effectively" at http://www.chiark.greenend.org.uk/~sgtatham/bugs.html We'd be grateful if you would then provide a more complete description of the problem.
