** Description changed:

  I just upgraded to Ubuntu 12.04.  Prior to upgrading, my d-link dwa-131 (usb 
wifi adapter) worked just fine.  Now, if I (1) pull out the adapter or (2) 
select "disconnect" on the network menu or (3) try to suspend, the os crashes.
