Evolution works better with 12.04 ubuntu release. 1) mail delivery upon computer awakening works.
2) appointment reminders appear on time rather than a day late. (I didn't tell you about that problem.) Was evolution improved? Was the linux system log fixed? My current syslog shows reasonable time stamps.
