Public bug reported:

I am running Liferea 1.8.3 on Ubuntu 12.04 (Precise Pangolin). I'm
using Liferea with Google Reader integration. When I am viewing the list
of new items, Liferea occasionally gets stuck on an item in the view
pane even though a different item is selected in the list pane. It does
not get out of this state unless I "killall -9 liferea". When this
happens, the system gets sluggish and Xorg starts using 100% of the CPU.

Typically this happens when there's a flash video in the feed item,
though I'm not 100% sure that it only happens in such situations.
