The setup works quite happily with the volume set to that level - much higher introduces distortion into the active speaker system. I have found that running movieplayer leads movieplayer crashing at startup and this leaves the audio system in an inoperable state. If I reboot the system I can then use the audio happily until movieplayer scres it again. This bug I thought was launched my movieplayer crashing!
