** Description changed:

I just installed Ubuntu 11.10. I have Windows 7 installed on one drive,
and Ubuntu installed on another. If I last used Ubuntu, when I try to
load Windows 7, my computer resets. Sometimes it resets in the Windows
loading screen, and sometimes I am able to log-in before it resets. This
behaviour did not occur prior to installing Ubuntu 11.10, and it did not
occur with the last version of Ubuntu I used, which I think was
9.something. After resetting once, I am able to log-in and use Windows 7
  without issue.

After resetting, the error message displayed prior to loading grub reads
"Warning: System Boot Fail. Your system last boot fail or POST
  interrupted."

The workaround is easy, so I have not spent much time reproducing this.
- My apologies if I am not providing enough information. Please request
- more if needed.

- My problem is very similar to
- https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/linux/+bug/791089. On that
- note, I am using an Asus P5N-D motherboard, and I am trying this
- suggestion:
