Currently I tried this workaround and it worked for latest version of SWT 
(3.7.2 as of this time):

Also, there are some jni bindings with gtk+ when using synaptic (libswt-
gtk-3-jni).

For the time being I will be using this workaround. Any suggestions are
welcomed! :)
