Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: app-install-data-commercial

After hibernating Ubuntu and waking it up on another network the vmnetX
devices were gone and I recovered them by invoking "dpkg-reconfigure
vmware-server" (because sudo /etc/init.d/networking restart didn't bring
them up). While I was issuing the dpkg command I had a VM guest open,
which was killed by dpkg. I think I should be asked whether or not I
want to shut down the guest before hard-killing it (or the state should
be saved automatically). Otherwise dataloss is possible.

Versions: Ubuntu Feisty (patched to 2.6.20-16), vmware-server 1.0.3
through app-install commercial

** Affects: app-install-data-commercial (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
