I have just installed a fresh version of Ubuntu 12.04 LTS final release
and I STILL have this annoying issue with the SOUND. What have you done
to a once working system in 11.10???? Go back to the drawing board and
rethink what you have done. So annoyed.

The only way I can hear through headphones and not the speakers is if I
restart the OS, but when I unplug the headphones there is no speaker
sound. Restart the OS without the headphones in speakers work, plug in
the headphones and speakers don't mute. Seems to be a Jack Detect
issue.

For an LTS release this should never of happened.

** Summary changed:

Beta 2
+ Speaker Sound does not disable when Headphones are connected. Ubuntu 12.04
