I've just downloaded Ubuntu 12.04 64bit. I've booted my Macbook Air 3,2 from external drive and I've noticed the same graphic corruption. It starts from the ubuntu progress bar. Is there a workaround for this problem? Do I need to cope with it only during the installation?
