I switched to Firefox for about a week and noticed I never experienced this bug under it as I did with Chrome. However, Firefox isn't my preferred browser so I switched back to Chrome after installing Flash Aid (https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/flash-aid/) in Firefox and letting it run through the Terminal and ta-dah, the bug is gone for me!
