I'm using unity-3d, and just this morning I was trying to add a desktop file icon to the launcher. I had enormous difficulty getting the launcher to appear in either screen when I dragged the icon over to it - even hitting the edge with the mouse wouldn't make it appear. And when I moved the mouse over when not dragging the icon, the launcher would appear but would disappear as soon as I could grab the desktop file icon to try and drag it across.
I did eventually manage to add the application - on one attempt, the launcher finally appeared on the (lower) monitor so I was able to drop it and the launcher retained it. So this bug as originally reported seems to be fixed now. But adding applications by dragging their icon across to the launcher is still a huge pain. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/958966 Title: dragging .desktop files to second launcher does not work To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/unity/+bug/958966/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
