Moreover, in response to that question, I suppose I should emphasize again that ctrl-right clicking and selecting "Tiny" works fine. Also, typing in the font name, painting it, and ctrl-right clicking and choosing "Selection" works just fine.
(In an uxterm I can't choose 5x7 with this method -- it just beeps at me -- but the corresponding Tiny font from /etc/X11/app-defaults/Uxterm i.e. -misc-fixed-medium-r-normal--8-80-75-75-c-50-iso10646-1 works fine there, and vice versa for non-Unicode xterm; that is, attempting to choose a Unicode font only results in a beep, for obvious reasons, but I can pick the 5x7 font there just fine, even though it refuses to use that when I pass it as an -fn argument. Anyway, there's no beep when I try that, it just falls back to the default font without any message or sound.) -- xterm -fn 5x7 no longer works https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/119050 You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is the bug contact for Ubuntu. -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
