Hi! The adept-notifier works correctly, the command
ps -e | grep adept
says
5180 ? 00:00:04 adept_notifier
then notifier is running.
In fact, when updates are available, the notifier reports me that.
Sorry, when the bug appears for first time, I checked "don't show this bug
again" option, and I haven't had more bug notifications, so I can't say you
more about this bug!

Mauro, thanks for the feedback. As suspected the bug is a known issue in
kde-guidance and not adept notifier. Now that it is properly annotated
it should get dealt with. Feel free to report any further bugs you may
find and thanks for helping to improve Kubuntu.
