sorry this is right, of course "boinc" is still running because is needed from astropulse and other applications...
I sent a mail upstream, I have to say I'm responsible for this bug, since I don't remember when but I sent a mail to Rom about a serious bug (showstopper I think) that was triggered in the closing system (or reducing to icon), something like a hang in the boinc program and a exigence to manually kill the process to make it work again, and I remember Rom fixed it by don't letting boinc manager to be reduced. In the past it was the better way to solve a serious bug by introducing this one... I hope they will fix this upstream. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/926891 Title: BOINC Manager can not be closed To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/boinc/+bug/926891/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list [email protected] https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
