No. Going down one (from standard to rescue) in Grub, then ENTER. Rescue system is started; Menu is shown, cursor acts as if keys are pressed continously, further keypresses are ignored, including ENTER.
Avoiding any keypress by setting "set default="1"" within grub.cfg. The system boots into rescue mode without pressing any key (as soon as you press ENTER --- same as above). The rescue menu is now functional. You are able to select entries. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/961493 Title: AGAIN: rescue menu unusable - doesn't react on keypress To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/grub2/+bug/961493/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
