Something happened in this morning's updates that appears to have fixed this! I do not remember any of the updates directly being for/to Minitube but it now appears to be ok. May have been a bug in a related package which is now fixed.
If no further comments added [e.g. nobody else is still affected].... Please feel free to mark as fixed or I can do so myself if so required or no more problems encountered.
