Actually (instead of re-spinning), simply by (connecting 'net and)
switching to tty1 when at choice of "Try Ubuntu"/"Install Ubuntu", it's
possible (at least with ftp and dpkg, due to errors with apt-get) to
update g-s-d to 3.4.0 (and g-s-d-dbgsym from ddebs.ubuntu.com). That
hasn't crashed yet, so suggesting 3.4.0 for Precise.
