Verified that this is still an issue in Ubuntu Software Center 5.1.14.1,
Ubuntu Precise Beta 2.

** Description changed:

  Binary package hint: software-center

Ubuntu Software Center 2.1.18.1, Ubuntu Maverick
+ Ubuntu Software Center 5.1.14.1, Ubuntu Precise Beta 2

  1. Navigate to "Get Software" : "Provided by Ubuntu" > "20.000 Light Years
Into Space".
  2. Click on another software source, e.g. "Canonical Partners".
  3. Click on "Provided by Ubuntu" again.

What happens: You see the top-level "Provided by Ubuntu" list.
What should happen: You return to the "20.000 Light Years Into Space" screen.

  <https://wiki.ubuntu.com/SoftwareCenter#navigation-between-screens>:
"When navigating to a different section, the main pane should display,
to the extent still applicable, the section exactly as it was when it
was last viewed since the Center was launched: the same department,
category, search results, scroll position, etc."
