Unfortunately, since it does appear to be an unsupported feature, this
bug report is technically a wishlist item. We'll just have to wait and
see. I think the most effective way to move this forward would be not to
talk to the compiz developers but rather to the gnome accessibility
team. Besides, they're the ones that used to support this feature. I'll
send them an email to see if they intend on re-implementing this.

I'm afraid that this probably won't get fixed unless Gnome reimplements
the functionality.
