Public bug reported: I notice a bug. The email message icon will turn into blue when new mail arrives. But that was broken on my system. I did a reinstall last week and I have setup a new profile from the message menu so far so good. thunderbird if there was new mail the icon turns to blue and the message menu displays how many new mail there was.
But i lost al my old mail so i copy the old .thunderbird profile back to the new installation and now the message menu is broken. The icon stays to white and no new message incitation inside the menu, but the new mail popup still works. I can reproduce the bug on new installation (i tried) I thinks it is a bug the way the message menu interact with the Thunderbird profile or someting. ** Affects: messagingmenu-extension Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: New ** Package changed: ubuntu => thunderbird-extensions ** Project changed: thunderbird-extensions => messagingmenu-extension ** Also affects: unity Importance: Undecided Status: New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/972622 Title: Inporting thunderbird .thunderbird folder (profile) breaks blue email allert on new mail To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/messagingmenu-extension/+bug/972622/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
