Hi Robert, so I've upgraded the BIOS as per your suggestion but unfortunately that didn't work. Actually disabling speed step (with rc6 enabled) still gave me problems so I just had to re-disable rc6. Thanks for the suggestions though - if you have any other ideas I'd be happy to hear them!
