Ok... so I just ran into this again... but I don't think it's the menu. Today I saw bug #940603 occur again after I thought it had been resolved. When this bug occurred (big white box obscures screen), THAT is when the logout function stopped working. So I'm thinking that this may not be a bug with the power menu at all, but a problem with whatever is causing that overlayed box, perhaps it's interfering with clicks meant to go to menu items?
