Although I am the original reporter of the nbug, I am sorry but I am now unable to help debug this, because I had to junk my BTTV card since here in France analog TV has been deprecated in favour of digital/DVB TV, so I had to replace my old BTTV card with a more modern DVB tuner (which doesn't work either, so I have to use windows to watch TV !!! :-/ ). So as far as I am concerned, this bug has become irrelevant/obsolete, my problem has now shifted to getting this DVB tuner to work !....
