Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kvpnc

When connecting to an openvpn connection I get a script error brought up
the openvpn.<connectionname>.up script.

kvpnc version : 0.8.9 (Gutsy)
openvpn version : 2.0.9-8 (Gusty)
dash version : 0.5.3-7ubuntu1 (Gusty)

The error is :
debug: [openvpn] /root/.kde/share/apps/kvpnc/openvpn.connectioname.up: 20:
Syntax error: Bad substitution
debug: [openvpn] Tue Jun 5 21:50:45 2007 script failed: shell command exited
with error status: 2
debug: [openvpn] Tue Jun 5 21:50:45 2007 Exiting
debug: OpenvpnManagementHandler raw: >FATAL:script failed: shell command exited
with error status: 2
error: OpenvpnManagementHandler: script exited with wrong status

If I replace /bin/sh with /bin/bash in the .up script it works (well,
not through kvpnc since it rewrites the script upon connection)

** Affects: kvpnc (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
