Public bug reported:

In Ubuntu (Feisty Fawn) I have installed Beryl (via synaptics) which
works just fine. I have also installed Revelation (via synaptics) to
manage all my passwords which works just fine.

After that I addes the "revelation account search" to the panel. This
works fine as well.

When I activate the "Show search entry" functionality in the
preferences of the "revelation account search" I get a free text area on
my panel to search my passwords. This is great!

The problem is: When Beryl is activated I'm not able to enter anything
into this free text area. There is just no cursor at all!

When Beryl is turned off the free text area is indeed clickable and I'm
able to use it to search for my passwords.

** Affects: revelation (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: Unconfirmed
