I'm uploading 0.6.6-1ubuntu1 to precise now. However, I'm not closing this bug at this point, because I'm not convinced it entirely fixes it (and upstream doesn't appear to truly claim that it does). The directions in the bug description still produce a certain degree of chaos; Daniel, do you think you could try those out? They're quite easy to follow in a precise amd64 chroot, such as one created using mk-sbuild in precise. I don't normally use aptitude myself (although I did at least make sure that my upload seemed to still work for non-multiarch cases), so I don't really consider myself qualified to say whether this is usable for multiarch yet.
However, this is clearly closer to a solution, and I expect that uploading this will reduce noise and make it easier to see what remains to be done. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/831768 Title: aptitude cannot handle conflicts with multiarch enabled To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/aptitude/+bug/831768/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
