Everything seems quite normal... What happens when you Open Wallch, do Ctrl+P to open the preferences, click on the middle button on the right (normally called 'General' in English), set language to English, click the down-right button (normally 'Save') and restart Wallch? http://i.imgur.com/4Qpdk.png
