I did some further investigating on this, and I don't thing this is a dup of bug #956824. This bug occurs on the preinstalled images during oem-config setup. Once logged in, the bug never reoccurs.
Also, I hacked the Beta 2 image to update to gnome-settings- daemon_3.4.0-0ubuntu2_armhf.deb (which fixed bug #956824), and still see the error during the same phase. Running apport-retrace on the crash file doesn't produce much helpful info (corrupt stack). Trying manual debugging from https://wiki.ubuntu.com/DebuggingProgramCrash (although since this happens only during oem-config, not sure how far I will get). Oh, and don't bother waiting for the retracers. They don't work on armel/armhf bugs. -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/966858 Title: [power]: gnome-settings-daemon crashed with SIGSEGV in gnome_rr_screen_get_dpms_mode() To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+source/gnome-settings-daemon/+bug/966858/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
