Just getting my microphone to work shouldnt even be a task a user needs to deal with. I have spent 2 days now trying to get a standard mic on a standard sound card (audiology2) on a standard build to work. There doesnt seem to be anywhere that provides "standard" settings.
After 2 days of going mental I can now actually hear myself through my speakers, but i still cant record.
