Thank you for your hint. But I don't think that it will help. Now I'm using natty (11.04) and there is no linux-backports-modules- alsa-generic package any more.
And the problems with the on board sound card persists in natty. Now I use a separate sound card to workaround the problems with the ATI HDA SBx00 Azalia (VT1818S) chip.
