Same here.. I'm on a Lenovo ThinkPad T510 and most of the time disable my TrackPad. Now whenever i close the lid or reboot, the trackpad is active again. And when I deactivate it the activation notification in the upper right is shown.
Steps to reproduce: 1. Disable TrackPad 2. Close the lid (Goes into Standby) 3. Open it again 4. The TrackPad is active again Expected: TrackPad should stay in deactivated state. This actually worked in Ubuntu 11.10 out of the box. ** Changed in: ubuntu Status: Incomplete => New -- You received this bug notification because you are a member of Ubuntu Bugs, which is subscribed to Ubuntu. https://bugs.launchpad.net/bugs/961039 Title: Disable trackpad hotkey not persistent To manage notifications about this bug go to: https://bugs.launchpad.net/ubuntu/+bug/961039/+subscriptions -- ubuntu-bugs mailing list ubuntu-bugs@lists.ubuntu.com https://lists.ubuntu.com/mailman/listinfo/ubuntu-bugs
