it is not possible to collect that information, I did boot with quiet
and splash off and the kernel immediately stops with the error, similar
to when attempting to boot a x64 kernel on a cpu that does not support
x64.

The hardware as been deployed with an older ubuntu release, so I cannot
test latest.  Does the kernel team say a change was made in cpu
requirements?
