*** This bug is a duplicate of bug 963718 ***

** Description changed:

  I'm using the following release of Ubuntu:

  Description:  Ubuntu precise (development branch)
  Release:      12.04

  The package I have specified is the one automatically detected by
  Ubuntu:

  unity 5.8.0-0ubuntu1

  I opened the Ubuntu Sofware Center and I looked for the "Gimp" sofware:
  I clicked on the "Install" button; the whole GUI seemed to crash and
  then reload; Ubuntu reported a crash; the "Gimp" installation didn't
  fail.

- I clicked on the "Leave closed" button (on the crash report window) and
+ I clicked on the "Leave closed" button (on the crash report window);
  I've noticed that now there's an empty place among the icons on the
- laucher and that there's the "System Settings" icon which shouldn't be
- there.
+ laucher and (but I'm not sure) that there's the "System Settings" icon
+ which shouldn't be there (I can't remember if I had unlocked it from the
+ laucher).
